Jon Read

CONSULTANT

Jon is a qualified accountant with 30+ years of multi-sector experience, with the majority of his time spent working in real estate. He joined KPMG’s Birmingham office, working in their owner managed business department, gaining exposure to a variety of businesses. He later spent 5 years at GVA Grimley and 3 years at Brooklyn Motors before joining ProLogis in 1999. At ProLogis he was responsible for the pre-fund development of ProLogis’ UK warehousing portfolio.

At Parkridge, Jon was initially responsible for the accounting of the industrial warehousing and retail mall funds – joint ventures with a leading UK insurance firm – and later took on the responsibilities of deputy COO. Since 2011 Jon has worked with a variety of businesses across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and the Midlands, using his technical expertise and experience to improve reporting, forecasting and internal procedures.

Jon joins Diamantem as a consultant to assist in financial management and reporting improvements and to help with the identification of suitably profitable business opportunities.
